Rental Policy

Welcome to AK Signature Styles LLC, owned and operated by Akendra Garrett. By renting fashion items from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Purpose

This policy explains the terms under which clients may rent fashion items from AK Signature Styles LLC. Please read carefully before booking.

2. Rental Eligibility

To rent from us, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Provide a valid government-issued photo ID

  • Sign a rental agreement

  • Pay a refundable security deposit (if applicable)

 

3. Rental Fees & Payment

  • All rental fees must be paid in full before pick-up or delivery.

  • Security deposits are refunded within 3–5 business days after return, assuming items are in acceptable condition.

  • Accepted payment methods:

    • Cash

    • Credit/Debit Card

    • Zelle

    • Cash App

 

4. Rental Period

  • The standard rental period is 7 days (unless otherwise agreed).

  • Late returns incur a $5.00 per day fee, deducted from the security deposit or billed separately.

 

5. Care & Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all rented items.

  • No alterations, cutting, or permanent changes are allowed.

  • Normal wear is expected, but damage, stains, or loss may result in additional fees or replacement costs.

 

6. Cleaning Policy

Cleaning options depend on the item:

  • Option A: Cleaning is included in your rental. Please do not clean the item yourself.

  • Option B: Client must return the item clean, using approved cleaning methods.

Improper cleaning may result in additional charges.

 

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancel at least 10 days before your rental start date for a full or partial refund.

  • No refunds for cancellations after the rental period has begun.

 

8. Liability & Indemnity

  • AK Signature Styles LLC is not responsible for any injury, allergic reaction, or incident during use of rented items.

  • The client assumes all responsibility once items are in their possession.

 

9. Ownership

  • All items remain the exclusive property of AK Signature Styles LLC (Akendra Garrett, Owner).

  • Renting does not give you ownership rights.

 

10. Agreement Acknowledgment

By renting from AK Signature Styles LLC, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow this policy.
